Alumina Plant Extension

of ALOUMINIUM S.A.

   
 
 
  The Project concerns the extension of Alumina Plant, located in Aluminium SA Plant in Aghios Nikolaos, Viotia, to obtain an increased by 30% output capacity. The extension incorporates upgrading of existing process units, installation of new equipment and all the associated modified or new interconnections. Main units involving are Bauxite crushing line, Grinding and Pre-desilication, Lime storage and conveying system, Decantation and washing, Filtering system, Carbonate causticisation, Evaporation system, Cooling towers, Precipitation and Classification section, Oxalate extraction and causticisation section, Digestion unit, utilities, interconnections etc.  
 

Provided Services

  • Basic design/Engineering of process units comprising arrangement of new equipment and modification/ extension of existing ones
  • Basic design/Engineering of water, sludge, chemical, steam and compressed air pipeline
  • Basic design/Engineering of civil works
  • Basic design/Engineering of structural works including tanks, pipe racks, belt conveyors etc
  • Basic design/Engineering of I&C works
